Dr. Gabriela Adamache

Dentist

Dr. Gabriela Adamache was born in Romania and moved to Canada in 1997.  She received her diploma from University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 1999 after completing the National Dental Examining Bord of Canada. Dr. Adamache became interested in dentistry at a young age, as she grew up in a family of dentists. She fulfills her purpose and passion in serving people through dentistry. Gabriela started her career in Toronto then subsequently spent the next 11 years in general family practice in Timmins, Ontario. With a lack of specialists in this northern area, Dr. Adamache developed her skills in many disciplines of dentistry, particularly endodontics, oral surgery and child dentistry. For the last 10 years, Dr. Adamache has been practicing dentistry in the Ottawa area. She spends many hours pursuing continuing education courses in the ever evolving world of dentistry.

Outside the office, Gabriela enjoys painting, travelling, exercising,  and spending time with her family and her  adopted pet - Fiji.

Lynn

Administrative assistant

Lynn has been working in the dental field for 35 years. She eagerly awaits to meet and greet you with her welcoming smile. When Lynn is away from the office, she loves spending time with her husband Denis and her dog "Nikki" (adorable little Morky). She also enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with friends and going to the cottage.

Jo-anne Crisp

Dental Hygienist

Growing up in rural Nova Scotia, Jo-anne had extensive dental needs as a child requiring at team approach.  Her dental hygienist and the profession obviously made an impression on her.  Jo-anne completed her Diploma in Dental Hygiene at Dalhouise University in 1993, moved to Ottawa with Applewood Acres being her home ever since. 
Jo-anne has often been in the community sharing her knowledge of dental hygiene: volunteering at local schools & groups, participating in professional organizations and chatting her running friends (“Yes, healthy gums do make you faster!”).  In 2014 she was invited to join Algonquin College’s Dental Hygiene program as an educator and loves it.  She went back to school part time and completed her Bachelor of Science, Dental Hygiene Specialist degree at University of Alberta in November 2020. 
Healthy aging is a common goal & yet most of us don’t give dental aging much thought beyond good luck.  Developing strategies with children and adults to ensure healthy smiles that last a lifetime has been a long-standing interest of study for Jo-anne.   Small, researched based adaptions to existing routine can have a big impact over time; from choosing the right toothpaste to having a piece of cheese with that glass of wine.

Marie Guinto

Dental Hygienist

Marie moved to Ottawa in 2017 from Vancouve, BC. She has been in the dental field for over 13 years where she was a Certified Dental Assistant and now a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is very passionate about educating patients on oral health. Marie loves spending time with her family and friends. On her free time she enjoys going to the gym, baking and travelling. She is also a big foodie and loves trying out new foods

Tracy

Dental Assistant, Level II

Tracy moved to Ottawa in 2006 from a small town close to Collingwood, Ontario. She has been practicing dental assisting for the past 15 years. She furthered her education by taking consultative dental treatment planning at George Brown.
Getting to know each patient in the office is the best part of her job. More importantly is that she found the office that shares the same goals and values as she does. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, cooking and spending time with her husband and son.
